Homework on Friday......Yes!!

Finish your one pagers if you did not finish in class!! Make it "pretty."

One pager:  Illustrate your favorite scene from your favorite story on courageous characters that we have learned about so far.  Provide a quote that goes along with your illustration.

My example was of Sojourner Truth's speech "Ain't I a Woman?"

I drew Sojourner on the stage with people in the audience and my quotes were.....

"The white men will be in a fix pretty soon."
"And ain't I a woman?"

We are discussing courageous characters.  1st and 2nd Core are supposed to write about how Malala is courageous and use supporting textual evidence.  5 sentences.

Core 3& 4-
Students are supposed to explain how Lexi Youngberg is considered courageous or heroic.  There are other people in the story that also show courage and heroic actions.  Should be at least 10 sentences.
