This Weekend.... PROJECT

Some students have not finished their project (see previous post).  Please have them work on it over the weekend.

Suggestions if you do not have Powerpoint or a computer:

-Hand write information that you find on your subject using the guidelines provided or save it on your notes on your cellphone.
-save pictures on your cellphone
-or write down the website that you find pictures that you like.

-Use a cellphone or tablet
-Go to the public library
-Go to a friend's house or neighbor's

Once you have collected your information then you can use the first few minutes of class typing it into your Powerpoint.

You can also save your information to a flash drive.....however, many students who do this come to school with an empty flash drive. .... So double check and try it on another computer.

New Project

How do acts of courage contribute to one's personal survival or the survival of others?

We are starting a new project this week and students are required to choose a courageous character and create a presentation to share with the class.
What does courageous mean?

Who are they? name and background
What makes them courageous?
What obstacles do he/she overcome and how?
Who/what did they rely on to get them through?
What can we learn from them?
Where are they today? How has their outlook on life changed?
Must have 6-10 slides-PowerPoint or Prezi
Each slide must have a graphic (picture)
