We are working on a vocabulary program that will hopefully enhance their vocabulary and bring up their reading scores. Students should receive a new vocabulary list on Monday and then have a quiz/test on Friday. We will do various activities during the week that should help them prepare for the quiz. We are also learning about the elements of a short story. Students should be familiar with setting, plot, theme, characters, and conflict. Students should read about 15 minutes a night. Please encourage your child to read every night.
